How does this website get Google PR2 with such poor content and no back links?

January 5th, 2009 | 3 Comments | Posted in Google

During a some Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) research I came across this site www.tigerbox.co.uk which has very little content and the content there is in flash. Also they don’t have any back links through Google, yet they still have a PR of 2.

How can they achieve this?

Why are my newly renamed pages not showing up anywhere in Google?

November 19th, 2008 | 4 Comments | Posted in Google

About a month ago I changed the page name of 3 of my sites pages to include keywords and hopefully improve my SEO efforts.

I updated my sitemap with the new URL’s and deleted the old pages from it as well.

The problem is my site has been crawled twice and my new pages are not showing up anywhere.

My main index page is still there, and thankfully ranking well, however I am at a loss as to what to do here.

Any ideas?
